Eligibility Criteria
• Associate Degree or
• Hold an Certified Coding Specialist (CCS®), Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-Based (CCS®-P), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT®) and the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA®) certifications.
• Not Required but recommended
o Two years of experience in CDI
o Associate’s degree or higher in a health care or allied health care discipline
o Completion of coursework in the following topics: Medical terminology, Human anatomy and physiology, Pathology , Pharmacology
